The Space:
A brand new residence that has been designed and crafted to sync in with its natural bushland surrounds, the single level residence fuses earthy cottage charm and contemporary chic in prefect harmony.
The bright and sunny living space features a comfy leather lounge slung in front of a mounted flat screen TV, two single arm chairs and sliding doors opening to a sunny patio that wraps around to a covered alfresco entertaining area. Focused around a stone cocktail/breakfast island, the ultra-sleek kitchen features a ceramic cooktop, microwave and integrated dishwasher.
The accommodation comprises two generous bedrooms with queen beds and built-in wardrobes, there’s an ultra-chic main bathroom with a deep stand-alone bath and shower, second bathroom with a shower plus an internal laundry with washer and dryer. Additional features include select timber floorboards, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, double-glazed windows, bespoke light fittings, skylights and plenty of off-street parking.
All linen is provided by our linen service, so you can be confident it's clean and fresh.

The Neighborhood:
Set high above Hobart near the base of Mount Wellington where snow falls occasionally sprinkle down around the house in the winter months, the residence is perfectly located for hikers and mountain bikers to experience a myriad of bush trails through the Mount Wellington National Park, a magical escape for nature lovers and thrill seekers within Hobart’s attractions only a short breath away.
The renowned and picturesque Pipeline Track is only 300m from the doorstep and follows Hobart’s still-functioning water supply system, which was established in the 1860’s. The wide, family-friendly track winds gently around the southern slopes of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington for 12.7 km.
Set to a panoramic scenes of the Derwent estuary and beyond with picturesque waterfalls cascading along the way, you’ll travel through mossy gullies and beneath tall gums while passing scenic and historic spots such as the Fern Tree Bower and the Wishing Well. From there you can also jump on the Westringa Track or a shorter journey by joining the track at Neika. Along the way you may happen upon a host of native wildlife including the local pademelons and wallabies or the occasional echidna or wombat.
The Fern Tree Tavern is just down the road with a bar, bistro and café plus Cascade Brewery or Mount Wellington, with its breathtaking views over Hobart and the Derwent River, are only a short drive away.
All the attractions of Hobart’s CBD or the seaside town of Kingston are only a 15 minute drive from the front door. On the way from the airport you can stock up at Hill Street Grocers just near the University, it is Tasmania’s iconic happy haven for serious foodies and lovers of fresh produce and gourmet products. Whisper-quiet and tranquil, it’s where wilderness meets civilization.
