Two Birds Retreat is an adult only seaside retreat for couples who are looking for that special place to unwind and connect with each other in a peaceful relaxing resort style accommodation.
Diamond Beach is a very relaxed country style sea side community that has a dog and horse friendly beach.
Waking up to the sound of the ocean is the prefect invitation for a early morning stroll along the golden sands as the sun rises with the possibility of seeing a pod of early morning dolphins swimming along the coastline.
After a rewarding walk / swim what better way to top off the morning than with a freshly brewed coffee, juice or a cooked breakfast at the local favourite cafe.
The Retreat gives you privacy and a place to relax in comfort either within your accommodation or by the pool and cabana through-out the day.
We offer 2 separate styles of accommodation to an individuals budget with the Beach House that sleeps 2 adult in full comfort and luxury to our compact Poolside Bungalow that offers a more intermittent connection surrounded by lush gardens.
The Pool and Cabana are the common areas shared by guests.
The Beach House - Opposite the Beach (100m)
Consists of a main bedroom with a walk-in robe that leads onto the front verandah. The bedroom has a TV located behind the door
The house has a living area that consists of a lounge, dining and study nook that leads onto the front verandah. Off the living area is a fully equiped kitchen with oven, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. The kitchen has all the necessities required to make guest stay comfortable.
The bathroom is located behind the kitchen with a dual shower, toilet, vanity, heated towel rail and a compact laundry with a washing machine
There is a two sided verandah that allows the guests to use the table and chairs as well as a Bohemain Hamic at there leisure.
The Poolside Bungalow
There is a private verandah with table and chairs as well as a bohemain hamic that can be used at the guests leisure.
Inside is a compact designed living area consisting of a fold down wall bed with a custom lounge, study nook and a kitchenette that has a sink, microwave, coffee machine, Smart TV, AC and all the necessary equipment to make the guests comfortable. (NOTE: cooking can be done within the Cabana BBQ area).
Off the living area is a compact bathroom with toilet, vanity, shower and heated towel rail.
Guest access
Two Birds Guests have full access to their own accommodation and are to respect the space of each others areas.
Guests arriving and leaving the Beach House have access via the double sliding main driveway gates.
Guests arriving and leaving the Poolside Bungalow have access via the front gate located on the grass which leads to the front verandah of the Bungalow.
All Guests have full access to the Pool, Cabana and BBQ area which are the only shared areas of the Retreat.
Guests who book the Poolside Bungalow may also book the Doggie Retreat which is located opposite the Bungalow. Prior approval will need to be granted for the Doggie Retreat with strict conditions during the pets stay.
Other things to note
Doggie Retreat
This can only be booked with the Poolside Bungalow with prior approval at an additional per night.
The doggie area extends from the outside area of the pool to the garage side gate to the front gated area that is located around the grassed area. It is the responsibility of the owners to keep the grass and garden areas clean including the retreat.
Pool Area
Pool area can only be used during the hours of 8am till 10pm with consideration to guests staying in the Poolside Bungalow
There is NO GLASS ALLOWED in the pool area, please use the plastic and bamboo glasses and plates located in the BBQ cupboards.
The fire pit will only be used at owners onsite availability including any external naked flames. This is the same with the pool water feature and spa jets.
BBQ is for joint use and it is the responsibility of each user to leave the BBQ in a clean and proper state.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THE BBQ IS TURN OFF AFTER USE.
Parking
The Beach House parking is within the driveway and not beyond the front verandah. Any damage to the front gates or walls will be the responsibility of the Beach House guests.
The Poolside Bungalow parking is located on the street
