Situated in Clontarf, Queensland, the first suburb on the peninsular once you’ve crossed the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge and within minutes to Redcliffe, this well loved house offers a place with several spaces to relax and unwind.
Pets are welcome, with a large grassed area, fully fenced grounds and a gate on the back deck for peace of mind. There is also a local dog park opposite the house and several others in the area, along with dog friendly beaches and cafes and walking trails on the peninsular.
Entering the house you will walk into the formal lounge room, set up with leather lounges and a smart flat screen TV, connected to Netflix, Disney+ and the internet (feel free to connect your devices with no extra charges). There is also reverse cycle heating/cooling and a ceiling fan in this room.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and robe with block out curtains, reverse cycle heating/cooling and a ceiling fan.
Next along there is a seperate bathroom with bath tub and shower, seperate to the toilet.
A second bedroom has a queen bed with reverse cycle heating/cooling. A third bedroom has a single bunk bed with a portable fan available.
Walking through to the kitchen it is fitted with a dishwasher, island bench and a coffee pod machine for your morning brew, which you can choose to enjoy on the large back deck or adjacent dining area. From the kitchen and dining walk onto the large covered back deck through french doors, where the peninsula breeze is captured in the late afternoon. An outdoor pool (not heated) and heated spa can be accessed off this space with a pool light that can be utilised at night.
This is a unique opportunity, you will not be sharing the house, pool nor spa with anyone else, including the owner during your stay.
*Please note this house is an old high-set Queenslander, it has stairs at the front and back entrances we apologise if this means you cannot enjoy this property. It has been up-dated over the years and has been a well loved family home. This home is located off a main road, however has a nature strip between the house and main road so you will not need to drive onto a busy road, however please note you will hear traffic noise.
There is a visitor information centre in Clontarf off the Hornibrook Esplande, open 9am-4pm everyday.
