Positive: This is a serenely stunning place to stay - the only problem with it was we didn't want to leave. The Cabin/cottage is situated on private property and although the main house isn't too far away the "boatshed " is completely private and quiet. The accommodation is very comfortable- an open living area ( with a/c) with sofas and TV at one end , and a dining table and well equipped kitchen in the middle with a separate bedroom and ensuite - with shower with a view . The whole length with windows and doors which open onto a long wooden patio with stunning views across the bay to distant Hobart lights and Mt Wellington. The kitchen includes a stove top and M/W , a full sized refrigerator , a dishwasher , coffee machine ( with some pods),electric jug and toaster and full complement of cooking requirements , plenty of cutlery and crockery and glassware. The 'pantry" had essentials like tea, sugar, salt and pepper, oil etc and a full litre of fresh milk in the fridge. Detergent for sink and dishwasher provided and plenty of cleaning gear if needed. Excellent hot water service. A cupboard housed books- the bird identification book particularly useful - maps, binoculars, torches . The bedroom had comfy bed with doona, blankets, plenty of pillows, overhead fan, reading lights and good wardrobe space . The ensuite had great shower, big sink, heated rail, washing machine( a small line outside , basket and pegs all thoughtfully provided ) Lots of towels ,incl . beach towels. Automatic outside lighting for parking at night. Clifton Beach -a patrolled surf beach a pleasant 15 mins drive, good food shopping in Lauderdale about 10 mins drive. Lots of walks nearby - if you want to bother- as sitting on the patio provided a kaleidoscope of changing scenery both day and night ....and the variety of birds was amazing . Admittedly we had a week of great weather but we are sure it would be beautiful even in the rain.

Negative: For us...nothing.
