Great walks (or mountain biking) over the headlands from Sharpes Beach. Paved paths for walking or cycling that go from Sharpes Beach over to Lennox Head and Ballina (two directions). Whale watching (seasonal), surfing or check out the tea tree lake in Lennox Head for a swim or picnic. Killen Falls (waterfall and bush walk) is a 20 minutes drive if you need a break from the beach.
A 5 minute drive to fabulous cafes, restaurants and shops in Lennox Head, Shelly Beach and Ballina, and a 20-30 minute drive to Byron Bay and Bangalow.
Local beaches are patrolled by surf life saving over weekends and holiday periods.
