Our home has been carefully preserved to showcase its original mid-century design, furniture, and items from the 1950s and 1960s. In fact, it has been suggested that our house should be listed under experiences for this period of design.

The space
Our spacious three-bedroom house, with an additional study is perfect for families and friends who are looking for a unique and cozy place to stay. The house was built by my Father who was a stonemason from Yorkshire, and has a beautiful connection to the established gardens that surround the property.
The interior of the house features stunning glass art from a well-known Canberran artist, art deco chairs, and interesting furniture and objects from the mid-century era. Please note that there is a separate Garden Apartment under the house with a resident boarder and occasionally her daughter. Kayla is welcoming, easy going, and non-intrusive, and she is generally away during guests' visits. There is also an independent outdoor cat named Marshall.
