Sleeping up to 8 guests, with nothing but the National Park between you and the beach, family and friends can relax to the sound of breaking waves.

Despite being only 10 minutes from the best that Noosa Heads has to offer you are nestled among the coastal trees of the Noosa National Park and tucked discreetly just above dune level. This wonderful home captures the morning sun along with ocean and National Park views from most of the rooms. As part of the Noosa Dunes gated residences, you will get direct access to the pristine beach along the private, shaded walkway.

The Space

Positioned at the end of the street, you will enjoy absolute privacy in this ultra-modern holiday home. The striking glass door captures your attention straight away, taking your gaze to the pool and beach beyond. Inside the entrance, the light comes at all angles from the cleverly placed windows, inviting the outside in, with louvred windows capturing the ocean breezes.

Take a few steps down to the lower level, where you will see into the mosaic-tiled swimming pool, and to one side of the pool is the first modern bedroom, featuring a lush carpet, a large built-in wardrobe, a statement armchair, and a queen bed looking out onto the deck and greenery beyond. A small table and 2 chairs on the deck are a serene area to enjoy morning coffee or take the winding steps through rock features and plants right around the house to reconnect with nature. Opposite is a contemporary, spacious bathroom with a shower and distinct sloping sink.

On the other side of the pool is the second carpeted bedroom, which features two single beds, a built-in wardrobe and a striking ensuite. The unusual shape and two large windows offer calming views of the gardens and National Park beyond. Having a bath or shower will offer you an invigorating, yet unwinding experience. Outside is a private balcony, which also wraps around the sitting room next door.

Three large, leather chairs face a large TV and offer the ideal area to watch a film. The third carpeted bedroom is next door and has two single beds, a built-in wardrobe and a stylish ensuite with a roomy walk-in shower. A fully equipped laundry is next to the ensuite and has outdoor access to the gardens.

On the main level, the huge lounge room is wonderfully lit with windows on every side, high ceilings and incredible ocean and pool views. Gorgeously presented with a tasteful dandelion-papered feature wall, three comfortable couches, a coffee table and a TV, this is an idyllic, relaxed space for you and your guests. A powder room adorned with the same dandelion wallpaper is discreetly located behind the feature wall.

To the other side of the pool is the fabulous kitchen and dining area in cool, calming grey and white tones. For any budding chef, this super modern kitchen has everything you could need to prepare a feast. An island bar seats 3, offering that relaxed social feel, and the dining area for 8 is well-positioned to take in the breathtaking views.

Sliding doors open onto a huge, covered alfresco dining area, featuring a built-in BBQ, seating for 8 and those all-encompassing views. More sliding doors open onto the wrap-around balcony and the gated, solar-heated pool, where you can truly feel castaway as you recline on one of the deckchairs looking out over nothing but the wonderful Noosa National Park.

A short ascent will take you to the fully plush carpeted top level and through a large corner study to the main bedroom. This impressive space has a light, airy feel from the high, slanted ceiling and louvres inviting in the cooling sea breezes. A huge walk-in robe is beautifully hidden along the wall behind the bed and an open archway leads into the grand ensuite.

You will immediately notice the marble, double vanities and wall-size mirror that reflects the ocean views. To one side is a separate toilet with a door and to the other side is an open shower room with a large ceiling shower head and additional shower hose on the wall. The ultimate quiet retreat with a real wow factor, you and your friends or family will remember your holiday at Castaways forever and will count the days 'til you can come back.

There is space for 3 cars, two in the double garage and one in the driveway.

Ducted air-conditioning is throughout, except for the two south-facing bedrooms, and ceiling fans are in all bedrooms and sitting rooms.

Please note there are three flights of stairs throughout the property.

Please note: This pool is solar heated, solar pool heating is only as effective as the amount of direct sunlight that is shining on the solar collectors. Solar pool heating doesn't work at night and is severely limited by cloud cover or shade.

Please note that Castaways Beach is an open and unpatrolled beach. The closest patrolled beaches are Sunshine Beach (5 min drive) and Peregian Beach (5 min drive).
