There are no bitumen roads on the island except for sand, so you will need a 4wd or arrangements can be made for you to be picked up and taken back to the barge. It is a 30 second walk to a wonderful, beautiful beach through an open track, and a 5 minute walk to the only shop at Bulwer Castaways.
