Fully furnished 3-bedroom cottage, 10 minutes drive to Cootamundra. Situated adjacent to the Jindalee National Park with great walking tracks and mountain bike trails opened in 2023.
Open plan kitchen and lounge, 2 queen bedrooms and 3rd with two king singles. TV in lounge and 3rd bedroom with DVD player. Reverse cycle air conditioning, one bathroom, laundry, barbeque and plenty of room for parking. Espresso coffee machine with capsules supplied but if you enjoy a certain flavour bring it along. Can be flexible with arrival and departure times (depending on next booking) just let us know your plans. The yard has a fire pit please discuss with Robyn or David if you intend to use it during your stay. This property has no internet.
Across the road is the the start of the new Jindalee NP mountain bike track. A flowy 25km green-blue single track. In addition the network of fire trails makes for fantastic bush walking and bird watching. August through spring is when the incredible Cootamundra wattle is in bloom and the surrounding farm land is a patchwork of canola and wheat. As Mannamite is a working farm producing meat plus fat lambs, wheat and canola you will be able to view the surrounding paddocks and whatever farm activities are occurring at the time of your stay. For safety there is no access to paddocks, sheds or yards.
Enjoy Coota’s excellent MTB trails (owner can provide local information), a round of golf then a few laps in the local 25m heated pool. Explore Bradman’s cottage, The Captains Walk or take advantage of local festivals like the Beach Volleyball weekend, Coota Touch Carnival, Temora Aviation Fly In’s (40 min drive), Young Cherry Festival (30 min drive), Junee’s Liquorice Factory or Train Museum (30 min drive) and Jugiong's highly popular Sir George Hotel, Long Track Pantry and the Jugiong Wine Cellar (40 mins).
