Magnolia Cottage is a self-contained farmhouse that has been beautifully restored and is ideal for your quiet country getaway. This original cottage is located close to the village of Kangaroo Valley and takes advantage of exclusive views of the mountains and vast Barrengarry Farmland. Surrounded by trees your privacy is guaranteed in this stunning location. The wide verandahs around the house take in magnificent 360 degree views over fields and the escarpment. In Winter warm up in front of the cosy wood fire; firewood for the 1st night provided from May to September. Additional wood can be purchased from the petrol station in the village.
The country style furnishings and kitchen take you back in time, while you still have all the modern comforts with electric cooking, microwave and TV with VCR/DVD.
Take a walk through the old world gardens, relax on the sweeping verandahs, take a short stroll for one of the renowned local pies or take a swim in the river. If you enjoy venturing into the past then a visit the local Pioneer Museum is a must and only a short walk away. The small village of Kangaroo Valley is a 2 minute drive away and provides a variety of cafe's and the local pub for breakfast, lunch & dinner, or the general store can provide you with all if you prefer to cook yourself in the fully equipped kitchen and stay in your secluded hideaway.
