Coolabah Farm House is nestled on 100 acres, located between the Southern Highlands and Goulburn which is an easy 2 hour drive from Sydney CBD.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
The house has been restored for a rustic, open plan, farmhouse experience. The house sleeps up to 6 guests and the bedding arrangements consist of a king bed, bouble bed, & queen bed. All beds are fitted with electric blankets & all bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans. Air conditioning and flatscreen TVs in king room.
The house has a newly renovated bathroom with shower & basin. Towels & hairdryer provided. There is a combined internal laundry & mud room with washing machine & dryer.
An open plan, rustic, fully equipped kitchen with a 3m stone island bench, 6 large pull out draws, double door stainless steel fridge/freezer, a DeLonghi electric cooktop oven, coffee pod machine, microwave & dishwasher. Tea towels, pots/pans, glasses, crockery,
utensils, tea/ coffee provided.
An open plan living area with 2x 3 seater leather lounges & flat screen TV. Combustion wood fireplace, fan and air conditioner.
TO DO AND SEE:
Come and admire some true Australia history. A hand crafted 60 year old, hay shed.
Feed the chickens and collect their eggs. (When in season) We have Silkies & Araucana the famous blue egg layers.
Meet the sheep, lambing season is always a wonderful sight.
Greet our cute miniature ponies & Shetland ponies.
Take a bush walk on the 100 acres & spot some native animals. Do some bird watching, there are many Australian native birds that visit the property.
Spotting the night time animals is another favourite activity.
Relax on the swinging bay bed.
Talk a walk up to the hill at the back of the property, such a lovely view from there.
Watch the kids as they play in the cubby house.
Do some reading and relax on the outside swinging chair
Horse riding available upon prior request at additional cost.
Coolabah Farm House is only 10km from Bungonia National Park, where you can venture on a bush walk, visit a cave, see the amazing waterfall or just get in touch with nature.
Goulburn is only 25km away, via Bullamalite Rd, where you will find many retail stores & eateries.
Visit a local winery to try some locally produced wines. only 10km away.
We are pet friendly however please let us know in advance if you are bringing your pet.
