Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Located 487 kilometres out of Coober Pedy makes it an ideal location for an overnight stop if you want a leisurely drive. There is nothing else around for another 200 kilometres. The motel does the job but needs updating. The shower was hot and fabulous pressure (it would be understandable if they installed water saver device in the shower given the water supply circumstances). The bed was comfortable. It was good to use the laundry and the emus, camel and the rooster were an interesting sideline.

Negative: The old box air conditioner was terribly noisy, the floor creaked with every step and we thought the guy next door was in our room when he walked around.

Summary: An OK place to stay for a night.
