Summary: This is 50:50 my poor research / the place. The room was perfectly nice in itself - very modern and well fitted out. The location was awful - one balcony overlooked a busy road and a petrol station - the other faced across a footpath directly to another unit. There was nowhere nice to sit outside at all. We're lucky enough to be able to do this - so we left without staying and found somewhere else. If you are booking - be really careful about which room you get - we were in building one. Have to also mention that we didn't complain or raise this with reception - as we also didn't like Coolum Beach itself as a town (not the fault of the actual accommodation provider).
