The Space
Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area creates a warm and inviting space for up to four guests. Whether you're sharing meals at the six-seater dining table, enjoying a movie night in the cosy lounge (complete with reverse-cycle air conditioning), or brewing your morning espresso in the fully equipped kitchen, you'll feel right at home. The kitchen includes an oven, cooktop, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a manual espresso machine - everything you need, except a microwave.
Step through the sliding doors to a peaceful patio with comfortable outdoor seating, perfect for your morning coffee or a quiet evening with a glass of local wine.
The main bedroom at the rear of the home features a queen bed and serene views across the paddocks, plus a private ensuite with shower, toilet, and vanity. The second bedroom, also with a queen bed, is located at the front of the house. A spacious main bathroom in the hallway includes a bathtub, shower, toilet, and vanity, with a discreet laundry area behind sliding doors equipped with a trough and washing machine.
True to its eco-conscious design, Cockatoo EcoHouse runs on rainwater and a fully solar-powered system with battery backup. While the home provides all the comforts you'd expect, we encourage guests to embrace sustainable living by running appliances like the washing machine during daylight hours to maximise solar energy use.
