You will be spending time in unique Tasmanian wilderness yet be only 15 minutes from the beautiful NW towns of Ulverstone, Penguin and Turners Beach which have all amenities but particularly coffee shops and beaches. Australian wildlife, including wallabies, seasonal birds, eagles, echidnas and possums is abundant and will keep you company during your stay.
The house has a wrap around deck with a large BBQ and outdoor furniture and a fire pit. It is warm and cosy in the colder months, heated by a large wood-heater and an open fireplace. Air-conditioning is not required in the summer.
The property is within a 75 minute drive from Cradle Mountain to the south east and the Tarkine rainforests to the west. Your host has a lot of information about often visited and rarely visited places in the NW region. Black Bluff View Retreat looks directly at Black Bluff and Leven Canyon to the south, part of Cradle Mountain Range.
This is a truly relaxing, spectacular and unique property. Its a bit like being in your private wildlife park where all the animals are free to roam as they want.
