Once upon a time this original Minnie Water beach shack sat right on the oceans edge at the foot of the Minnie escarpment. People came from Grafton and further afield to holiday in these shacks creating lifetime memories for generations of kids. Some of the shacks were relocated to the top of the hill, including the Beach Cottage at Minnie. No longer a shack, the home has been beautifully refurbished by owners who have been careful to retain much of the original style and feel of the property. Enjoy glorious 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean; spot whales during their migrations north and south; take a quick walk to the Minnie lagoon and snorkel, kayak, swim in the clear water. Or do nothing at all and enjoy the view from the sweeping front deck while someone cooks the BBQ in the shaded rear garden oasis.
