There are two verandas, with the front having magnificent open ocean views looking directly out over Cleveland Bay and across to the lights of Townsville 6 miles away. The harbour side veranda with it's exclusive use side yard is sheltered from the prevailing SE winds and great to relax on when to windy out the front. It has 180 degree views taking in the ocean, harbour and Mount Cook. The noise from ferries and other vessels is absorbed by the harbour's bolder walls making this a delightful spot to watch passing vessels and enjoy the company of the friendly resident Wallabies. With the side veranda being open to the yard, the wallabies will hop up right next to you to munch on a carrot whilst you enjoy an afternoon beer or wine. Catch a fish or crayfish on your doorstep and each year watch the whales. Stag Horn and other corals make for great snorkelling at the base of the front rock wall on a calm day. The locked harbour entrance side gate in your private yard makes this the only unit in the complex with direct access to the harbor side walkway, providing a far more pleasant 2 minute walk to the ferry terminal, buses, restaurants, shops etc. Inside this secure gated complex for your use, there's a gym and 4 spectacular pools, one roof top and 3 ocean front. You'll absolutely love Bright Point and Magnetic Island. This apartment is regarded by many of our guests as their best Island stay location and some have said, the best in the whole of NQ. Try and you’ll never want to leave. Lovely fresh sea breezes all year round where the Mozzies and Sandflies don't venture this far out, so no need for fly screens or closing up at dusk.
