Summary: Pros: -Owner is nice -Location Cons: -Very small apartment -The apartment is cheaply fitted out with low-quality furniture -There was mould in the shower and sink, and soap scum on shower glass -One of the beds was falling apart, with screws and dowels showing, sitting on the bed caused some of the supports underneath to pop off with screws coming out; we could not use this bed due to safety -The lock on the main balcony door is broken, therefore it does NOT lock; told the owner about this on day 1 and he said "we're notified strata"; this is a massive security problem and needs to be fixed before any additional tenants attend. Anyone would have been able to climb in from the balcony, could not leave any valuables in the apartment -The dining chairs were falling apart when sitting on them -We were only provided with one key, had to push back and argue with the owner to get a second key; if you are two adults, two keys is probably essential -The owner does not seem to have strata approval to use this apartment on stays; as he asked me not to tell neighbours that we were using Stays to stay here. Put me in a very awkward situation -Car park is extremely small and there is almost not enough room to open doors between cars when parking in the allocated spot
