If you are looking for peace and quiet away from (15 min drive) the crowds at Phillip Island, yet be close to the beaches, this is the place for you.
Freshly painted and renovated 1940's cottage set amongst oak trees, just minutes drive from kids swimming and surf beaches. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 15 mins to Phillip Island this tranquil hide away makes this property very unique. There are no neighbours on either side or at the back. There is a fully enclosed back yard for kids. Spend sunny afternoons and evenings on the deck and BBQ area in the back yard listening to nothing but the kookaburras.
Woolamai Escape is 5 minutes walk to the Bass Coast Rail Trail. The trail has recently been extended to run parallel to the front of the house and is a beautiful choice for walking, jogging, bicycle or horseback riding. Please see the Bass Coast web site for more details.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
WOOLAMAI PICNIC RACES are run seven times over the spring/summer. This is a great family friendly event at a beautiful country race track located 1 kilometre from the house. Plenty of shade and picnic tables if you get there early.
NOTE: 3 night minimum booking required over Easter, Melbourne Cup weekend, and Grand Prix.
KILCUNDA BEACH is only 7 minutes drive and is a lovely surf beach with sand and rock pools surrounded by the cliffs.
If you prefer something more gentle for the kids, CORONET BAY is less than 10 minutes drive and has a protected shallow beach with very little waves.
PHILLIP ISLAND only 15 minutes away.
NOTE: Due to fire danger, NO outside fires allowed at the property.
