Summary: The Raffles in Byron is a stylish, clean and peaceful accomodation for a holiday stay, and the hosts Tanya and Henning made the experience even more pleasurable with their friendly, helpful and never too much trouble attitude to make our stay there enjoyable and comfotable, and also in the same manner their son Evan was friendly and helpful too. Everything about The Raffles is class and up-market from the stylish exteriors, spacious rooms, big screen TV with streaming channels available to use, many modern appliances including a wonderful large refrigerator. It was also the thoughful extras that made our stay there even more special, the stocked refrigerator with many food items and a six-pack of beer, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee plus a welcome bottle of wine and box of chocolates. Our main reason for this holiday was to attend tha Byron Bay 35th Blues Festival, but it was always wonderful to return to the comfort and peaceful atmosphere at The Raffles, sitting outside with the stylish Bali garden was very relaxing with the birds singing and other wildlife turning up at the appropriate times. We hope to return to The Raffles again some time for another holiday, and see all the other surrounding sights we missed.
