Positive: The Old Trentham Church has been beautifully restored and decorated. The old windows are gorgeous and let in beautiful light & really warmed up the rooms throughout the day. I had a wonderful stay with my best friend. The beds were so comfortable and so warm with the extra blankets on a few cooler nights. The lounge room & couches were so comfy to sit & watch a bit of tv curled up with the thick blankets at night time, when we were too full from eating to go anywhere. The gardens around the house are stunning. Sitting underneath the beautiful old oak trees during the day & walking around the garden looking at all the beautiful flowers. The little strawberries that are growing around the house were delicious in our salads. Fresh herbs in the garden for cooking too. The fridge was the perfect size to put our food for cooking a few meals when we didn’t want to go anywhere. The coffee pod was perfect when there were no cafes open in the afternoons. We were staying there after Christmas, so we were able to get whatever we needed. Went for a few drives around. The Trentham Falls were pretty & we stopped & had a picnic there. The little town of Trentham is gorgeous to walk around during the day. The locals are very friendly & there are some lovely local shops & local supermarket to get some extra supplies that we needed. There are some great local cafes for coffee or ice cream and gelato. The chocolate shop Sisko has beautiful chocolates to eat & got a few little gifts to go back home with. The Pig & Whistle Hotel was lovely to go & eat on New Year’s Eve. Thank you we really loved out stay at the Old Trentham Church.

Negative: Having to leave.
