Aquila is one of the cottages at King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre located in the Otway Ranges, nestled on the north-facing hillside of the spectacular Pennyroyal Valley, consisting of five other cottages, surrounded by the National Park.
Aquila is a beautiful rustic cottage with a private aspect accommodating up to 6 guests. In between the 2 spacious king bedrooms upstairs is an area with 2 bunks (suitable for children only) opening out onto a sunny balcony.
Downstairs are comfortable living and dining areas with a well-equipped kitchen. Aquila has a spacious bathroom and an extra toilet. The focus of this cottage is out across an expansive hillside of grass to a stand of Blackwood trees. Birds abound around this cottage and kangaroos are very close at dawn and dusk. There is an outdoor pavilion with a BBQ area and seating, to sit and watch the friendly parrots and soak up the sunshine.

All King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre guests have access to the communal games room, salt water pool and our own private bush walks including waterfall.

Please note -
We live up to our name as a bush retreat. End of valley privacy is protected by 4km winding gravel road, steep in sections. You do not need 4WD but you do need to be comfortable driving on gravel roads. You will need your own vehicle as there is no public transport in the area.
