The Space:
You and your family will feel right at home in this neat little property - renovated where it counts, whilst still retaining its sense of 70s charm. A warm and inviting sanctuary with wooden floorboards throughout, perfectly suited to a relaxing getaway.
The property is conveniently located close to the gorgeous Seacliff beach and the Marino Conservation Park. The local parklands, beaches and bike/walking tracks provide wonderful leisure opportunities, and it is also on the same street as a park with a playground that the little kids will love!
The fresh living and dining areas are angled towards the northern aspect with views of the tree lined garden, with glimpses of the ocean and Adelaide city in the distance from the deck area out the back.
The neat, efficient kitchen boasts a clean and fresh minimalist vibe, and flows effortlessly into the open plan living/dining area and sunroom. Featuring full sized fridge, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus cookware and crockery supplied.
The main living area features large flat screen Smart TV, Reverse Cycle Airconditioning and comfortable L-shaped lounge, which is also doubles a fold out bed (bedding available on request only).
The Main bedroom features a new comfortable QUEEN bed (not pictured yet) , free standing fan and wardrobe space, and the second bedroom has a bunk bed and wardrobe space.
For a bit of spa-like indulgence, just step into the huge freshly refurbished contemporary bathroom featuring floor to ceiling tiles and mirrors, large walk in shower and freestanding bath. It honestly feels like you have walked into a 5 star hotel bathroom!
Whilst at the property, you can make use of laundry with washing machine, and the ample off-street parking for 2 cars, and plenty of free street parking out the front.
The modern, fast, frequent trains from the Marino station (5 mins walk from the property) will get you into the city in under 30 minutes
Guest Access:
The interior of the house is all yours during your stay, however please note that the backyard and surrounding buildings and sheds are accessed by the owners part time for work purposes. There is a granny flat located on the right side of the house, which is used as an Chinese Acupuncture clinic a few days a week offering both medical and beauty treatments, and has its own private access point. The owners also sometimes use the granny flat as a guest house from time to time. Additionally there is a large shed a the lower backend of the property which is used for a instrument making business on some evenings until 8pm, so you will very likely see people around in the backyard, front and side of house if staying during the week.
The Neighborhood:
Marino is a quiet and safe area with wide streets, and considered in the top 10 suburbs to reside in South Australia. Take advantage of the nearby tennis courts or golf course, have a stroll along the stunning coastal paths, do bit of yoga or Pilates at Marino community centre, or go for a swim at the beach.
Getting Around:
The modern, fast, frequent trains from the Marino station (5 mins walk from the property) will get you into the city in under 30 minutes. You can be also in the Mclaren Vale wine region, or Fleurieu Peninsula in just 25-35 minutes drive.
Other Things to Note:
The granny flat, large storage and garden sheds at the back of the property are not available to guests, and whilst you are welcome to walk out the back to the garden (and help yourself to the abundant lemon tree when it’s in season), this area is currently under a slow going revamp process, so it's not an area we boast as being a significant part of this listing.
