The Allotment Cottage is a lovingly restored worker's cottage in central Albany, minutes away from the cafes, restaurants and bars of central Albany. The cottage combines elegance and luxury with a relaxed bohemian feel. Morning sunshine streams through the open kitchen, living and dining space which opens on to an enclosed garden and courtyard. In the colder months, there's a fireplace and a deep bath for winter comfort. All bedrooms are spacious, with quality linens and the kitchen well appointed for self catering. 2 queen bedrooms and a bunk room are downstairs with a shared bathroom. Upstairs is a private retreat with queen bed, walk-in-robe and ensuite bathroom. A front verandah faces to the street and is a great place to soak up the afternoon sunshine. The enclosed back courtyard extends from the living/dining area and looks over the chicken coop where our happy girls forage during the day. The house block is surrounded by vegetable gardens, fruit trees and lawn and kids will love our "city farm". They're welcome to join us to collect the eggs if you see us about.
