The space
Located on the same property yet adjacent to our main residence, the guest house is designed as a completely separate, fully fenced sanctuary. With its own independent entrance behind a secure electric gate and a dedicated outdoor courtyard, you can expect a beautifully peaceful, undisturbed experience.
A WARM WELCOME AFTER YOUR JOURNEY
We understand how tiring long-distance travel can be. To help you settle in comfortably without rushing straight to the shops, we are delighted to provide a complimentary selection of light breakfast starters upon arrival (including bread, milk, spreads, butter, fruit, teas, and coffee pods). Please keep in mind this is a one-off welcome basket provided at the start of your trip, and is not daily catered or replenished.

To ensure an environment of complete rest, quiet, and relaxation, Reef Ocean Stay is a strictly smoke-free and vape-free property equipped for discerning guests. Whether you are travelling solo, as a couple, or with friends, the space accommodates up to 4 adults maximum (ideally suited for 2).

🛏️ THE MASTER RETREAT (1–2 GUESTS) – Your main bedroom features a premium King-sized bed dressed in Actil Hotel linens by Sheridan to ensure a restful night's sleep.
🛋️ IDEAL FOR 2 (ACCOMMODATING UP TO 4) – While our setup is most comfortable for two, a high-quality Queen-size pull-out sofa bed in the lounge room is available upon request. To maintain a luxury experience for everyone, additional guest fees ($45 AUD per person, per night) apply beyond the first two visitors. This covers the additional linen, laundering, amenities, and breakfast items.
🔄 TWO GUESTS USING SEPARATE BEDS – If a booking of two requires the use of the sofa bed, please inform us in advance. A small additional charge applies to cover the extra linen and laundering costs.
💰 FAIR PRICING STRUCTURE – By keeping our baseline rate tailored strictly to 1–2 people, we ensure solo travellers and couples only pay for the space they use, while still providing a flexible solution to keep loved ones close by.
☀️ CLIMATE COMFORT – The kitchen, dining, and living areas feature a bright, open-plan layout, allowing the powerful reverse-cycle air conditioner to quickly cool or warm the home. While the master bedroom has a full door for privacy, it can be left open to allow the climate control to flow through, complemented by a refreshing overhead ceiling fan.
✨ PREMIUM TOUCHES – We offer cosy cotton robes to relax in and Australian botanical bathroom products (featuring Kakadu Plum & Kangaroo Apple Extract). We also provide Sheridan beach towels completely complimentary, saving you valuable luggage weight.
🧹 OPTIONAL MID-STAY REFRESH – For longer bookings, we offer two optional refresh services with 48 hours' notice: Full Service ($90 AUD): Includes a complete linen change, bed remake, fresh towel swap, and a light surface clean. Linen Swap Only ($45 AUD): Freshly pressed sheets and towels delivered to your door (used items collected for laundering).

VISITOR & SECURITY POLICY
For security and insurance purposes, unregistered visitors are not permitted on the property without prior notice. Please ensure all members of your party are added to the reservation.
For complete peace of mind, the guest house is equipped with its own full security alarm system for your use. Additionally, please note that two external security cameras monitor the main street entrance and driveways of the primary residence. Your home's interior and entrance are completely free from surveillance to respect your privacy.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Our automated irrigation system runs from September to May on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Furthermore, garden upkeep is planned every four weeks, and you might get a message during your visit to coordinate access for this purpose.
Our garbage bin collection is early Thursday morning and bins are placed out the front Wednesday evening. We will send a reminder message beforehand.
