The house has 3 bedrooms one with a king bed, the second room has a queen bed and the third room has two king singles. The house has recently undergone a complete renovation with a brand new ensuite attached to the master and a complete new kitchen. The lounge area is a beautiful open space with high cathedral ceilings and a beautiful warm open fireplace. A large deck wraps around the property so you can enjoy the stunning ocean views whilst relaxing in the sun. The whole property is surrounded by expansive lawns and gardens overlooking the ocean.
This property is ideal for those wanting to get away and unwind. The property is private and away from the hustle and bustle while only being an 11 minute drive to the beach and the township of Apollo Bay. Another stunning town which is only a 20 minute drive from the property is Forrest, the mountain bike riding mecca From Melbourne to "Ollies View" is only a 2hr 20min drive.
Ollies View has no Wifi but hey don't fret we have views and native wildlife to keep you entertained. If that's not your thing we have a DVD player or immerse yourself in a book on our comfy couch.
Internet connection is mostly good with Telstra. There is very limited Optus service on the property.

To ensure we can provide pet friendly accommodation it is the responsibility of the pet owner to ensure their pets safety.
As Cape Cottages is on farmland and beside other farms there is wildlife of all kinds please be mindful and if unsure please keep your pet on lead.
Wildlife (including snakes) are also a part of our Australian bush landscape and a real danger that you need to be aware of at all times. Whilst we dont see them often, they are around. We only mention this so you are aware.
We also ask that you don't engage with the Deer, Koalas or Kangaroos as these may look cute they are wild animals.
Please DO NOT LEAVE your pet in the house or within the grounds on its own.
All pets must be taken with you if leaving Cape Cottage.

BOND/REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT FEE: Please note the bond is held as a pre-authorisation on your credit card, this is taken within 24 hours of your arrival and held until 3 days post stay. We require that the bond is simply an amount we "hold" on your card. If there are issues or damages, we will contact you post stay to discuss with a view to resolving before the hold is released.
The booking price displayed for online bookings includes a processing fee of 3% per booking.
If a refund or cancellation takes place, please note the refunded amount will not include the 3% processing fee as this will be retained by Otway Retreats to cover the original transaction.
If your check in date is within 60 days a 100% payment is required.
If your check in date is over 60 days then a payment of 50% is required to secure your booking and the remaining 50% will be charged to your card on file 30 days before your check in day.

Check-in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is 10:00am unless specified and agreed otherwise.
Early Check-ins and Late checkouts are subject to availability and incur additional fees of $50.00 per hour.
Please respect the privacy of our local community and neighbours. If a guest's behaviour or noise level is unreasonable, a warning will be given and ignoring this will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund. Strictly no parties or events allowed.
This property is non-smoking, failure to comply will result in a minimum $200 fine.
Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat and tidy manner on departure. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the property is not left in a presentable condition.
