Mt Solitary House offers a simplistic, yet modern design. An entry foyer spills into an open-plan living and dining area with direct views over Mount Solitary through generous valley-facing windows. A newly renovated kitchen extends the living area, equipped with all essentials, including gas stove, coffee machine, toaster, oven, and of course, mountain views.
No one will miss a great night’s sleep with Mt Solitary House’s five bedrooms, each fitted with fresh bed linen and towels before every booking. Two master bedrooms offer a King and Queen bed, respectively, each with ensuites. Two additional bedrooms each with Queen beds, a fifth bunk-bed room, and a linen-fitted portable floor mattress (available upon request for groups of 11 or for a $40 linen fee for groups less than 11, at least 8 days before check in) allows a maximum of 11 guests to enjoy the premises. We also cater for families with infants, with a cot (fitted with linen) present in one of the Queen bedrooms. For guests without ensuites, a central feature bathroom is available, with large open shower and free-standing bath.
A spacious, covered deck (with charcoal grill) offers all-weather outdoor entertaining, with unobstructed views of Mount Solitary and surrounding valley-land. A second vantage platform sits near the escarpment edge, for closer views and deeper immersion in the fresh Blue Mountain air.
