The space
You will be staying in a modern Boho Surf Shack a self-made sanctuary. Specially designed for each space to feel tranquil and inviting.
The back deck is sun-soaked through most of the morning and afternoon, perfect for an early Breakfast before the beach.
She is the ultimate Beach-Lover’s sanctuary . The Loveshack has 14windows to let the cool afternoon southerly through and light fill all the rooms.
You will have all the best beaches at your fingertips - the dog-friendly South Umina Beach, Ocean Beach, Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach, Pearl Beach, Patonga, Killcare Beach and Box Head Beach.
There are are some condiments and herbs and spices available.
Kitchen is fully equipped. Filtered water if you use soda stream you need your own bottles but welcome to use .
Beach tents ,chairs , Boards surf and body are available for you to use,
all you'll need to bring with you is a Beach towel!
Sunlight fills the house throughout the day, but the surrounding native trees provide the perfect amount of shade.
The backyard is fully-fenced , and has a cosy firepit for cool nights. Hammock for cool days
On rainy days, Ettalong Galleriea provides movies, restaurants, markets & cafes (but there is always Netflix, Wii and WiFi at home and plenty of board games too!)
The Loveshack also has an extensive library and office space in the sunroom to lie down
Listen to the native birds while you relax and soak up a book.

Umina Beach is great for young kids -It has the ultimate child's playground, skate ramp for bigger brothers and sisters with the onlooking organic Jasmine Green Cafe for mums and dads. The beach is also fully patrolled and provides calmer surf.
The area is known for it's surfing, fishing, paddle boarding, biking, hiking tracks, and markets, so you have the freedom to shape your stay however you want it!
Take in a stroll along the esplanade and stop in to the Box for a long lunch at Ettalong Beach or a perhaps a spot of Tennis in Umina if you prefer.
Patonga is great for a family day, BBQ and have a day of swimming or beat the crowd and book a table at the Boat house hotel.
Ocean beach hotel Umina has a great menu to dine on whilst watching your favourite sports on the biggest out door screen.
Umina Beach lawn bowls has a great bistro and is up for barefoot bowls at your request.
Most clubs and hotels in the area provide courteous buses to get you home easily fantastic for a night off too much fun.
Ocean beach hotel, Ocean beach surf club, Woolworths supermarket and BWS bottle shop are at the end of Trafalgar Ave. Turn left at the big palm tree and everything you need is right at the end of the street.
To get to our Boho Beach Shack, you can catch a 50min express train from Central to Woy Woy and then a 7 minute taxi or a bus.
Alternatively, you can drive the 80min journey from Sydney CBD.
It is just over an hour from Newcastle by train or car.
School holidays are a minimum 5night stay , otherwise weekends are a minimum 2nights and overnights weekdays can be provided on request.
