Views in every direction, whatever season, High Ground Cottage is designed to look after you. Superbly insulated, with a full kitchen, open living and dining area, and three bedrooms that accommodate King beds or twin singles, it's versatile too.
High Ground Cottage is an eco-friendly off-grid property. It's the perfect place for your family holiday. The cottage, and our main homestead, are both powered from an off-grid solar energy system. The appliances and comforts in the Cottage are all energy efficient and superbly effective in making your stay extremely comfortable. We ask that you are aware of this and are respectful in your energy consumption with some simple awareness, eg. run the washing machine during the day.

On the property we have a friendly resident Alaskan Malamute "Sully" with more animals coming in June/July including miniature goats, alpacas and chickens. The property is an alpine safari with frequent viewings of deer, kangaroos, rabbits, birds and much more.

Bedroom 2 - 2 x long singles
Bedroom 3 - King Bed
The standard setup is for King, twin, King across the 3 rooms. If you would like something different to this then ideally please advise when booking, otherwise please give us at least 48hrs notice prior to your arrival day so that we can make changes when preparing the Cottage for your arrival.
Please note - All pets must be booked in to stay at the cottage. Please add them when making your booking. Pet fees apply.
Rules for pets on the property and in the cottage
Your dog is your responsibility during your stay and should only be inside accompanied. Please make sure your pets are in the outdoors secure area if you are out for the day (eg at the snowfields). Please ensure to clean up after your pet with dog bags and take your dog for a walk on a lead for wildlife, farm animals and pet safety. Please make sure that pets don't jump on the beds or furniture during your stay.
