Based in Hawker, Belconnen (10 minutes from the city) this delightful 3 bedroom, completely renovated, townhouse with modern décor is just waiting for you. All the comforts of a hotel with so much more space and many extras.
Featuring two queen beds and two single beds this townhouse allows for up to six guests. All beds have extremely comfortable mattresses and a range of pillows are available to suit everyone's taste. Each bed has linen supplied and there are towels for everyone.
Your accommodation is complete with heating and cooling for those extra warm or cool Canberra nights.
Two enclosed courtyards allow you the choice of where to sit for a refreshing afternoon drink whilst thinking about which local restaurant you could walk to as there are several within a 5 minute walk – Al-a-carte, Chinese, Vietnamese, Greek, take-a-ways. A 5 minute drive to Belconnen or Jamison will provide many more dining options for the entire family and fussy eaters.
Need entertainment? Well this place has it all - boasting 5G Wi-Fi, Free Netflix, DVD /Blue Rays, board games and some books and puzzles to keep the kids amused. Three wall mounted televisions throughout the house will help to keep all the family happy.
Light breakfast items supplied and no need to bring the hairdryer and shampoo/conditioner as you find some already supplied for your visit. A lightly stocked pantry will ensure you don't have to buy everything if you feel like cooking and there is a BBQ available if you have the steak or the prawns!
Hawker is a wonderful suburb; the local shopping centre boasts Woolworths, restaurants, bakery, post office, chemist and petrol station just to name a few. Major shopping centres at Jamison and Belconnen are a short 5 minute drive and there is a bus stop within 100 metres walking distance. Fancy a day out at Big Splash Water Park - well you only need to head on down the road for a fun filled day with the kids.
The property is a leisurely 10 minute walk to Hawker International Softball Centre if you’re in town for a competition.
There is a bus stop 100 metres walk from your accommodation and local shops within a 5 minute walk. Hawker is in the Belconnen area which is approx. 10 minutes drive to the city. Woden town centre is 15 minutes drive and Gungahlin is approx. 12 minutes drive.
Murrumbateman is approx. 20 minutes drive which is a lovely day out and has some of our wonderful local wineries and a great counter meal at the pub!
Like walking? Just a short walk in Hawker will open up to some lovely walking tracks where you will even spot a kangaroo or two up at The Pinnacle.
Dog and cat friendly accommodation allows you to bring your dog/cat on holiday as well. Animals are welcome everywhere in the house but no sleeping on the white bedding or additional laundering fees will be applied. Canberra supports dog friendly parks so your furry friend will love to run around and meet some of the locals as well.
Canberra is famous for fantastic walking and bike tracks around our lakes here you can stop for a rest and enjoy a cool drink.
A single garage with internal access ensures all your valuables are safe - you can even bring the kids bikes and they can ride up at the Pinnacle too!
If you are staying for a while, I can arrange for cleaning during your stay so you don't have to worry about this. A cleaning fee will be applied each time, payable direct to the cleaner.
All linen and towels are supplied. There are also some beach towels that can used during you stay if you wish to visit the local pools.
** Note: Please note pets are welcome but due to additional cleaning required to ensure the property is perfect for the next guest, I have to apply a $40 fee for the additional costs for the cleaner as it does take extra time to clean. I will update the amount to add the $40 upon booking if not selected. There is a also a great area for them to sleep in the laundry if you don’t want them in the house with you . Any damage by your pet(s) is your responsibility and charges will be applied to repair.
You are also responsible to clean up your dogs' dropping in gardens and any mess inside. There are dog towels, bowls and doggy bags available in the laundry for your use.
Smoking is allowed outside only.
