In Summer, head out to the waters on Lake Eildon which is perfect for fishing, swimming and water sports then come back to air conditioned comfort and relax on the decking with a drink and listening to the BBQ sizzling away. Enjoy the country air and watch the kids kick the footy and run around on the grassed area below.
In winter, take the 20-25mins drive to the Mt Buller Entrance for skiing, boarding and snow play.
Upon returning home, you can easily unwind in front of the open fire place with a glass of local wine, watching a movie on the large screen Smart TV or simply making memories with your family and friends.
Goughs Hideaway is a great base to explore everything the High Country Mountains, Rivers and Lakes have to offer. Or simply stay at home and enjoy all the property has to offer; majestic sunrises, sunsets and stargazing at the endless High Country sky.
