This is a Quaint, Quirky cottage that is very accommodating and comfy
It is separate from the main residence with a private garden with an electric BBQ, Hammock and seated area. There is even a Banksy on the garage door.
90 mins from the Sydney CBD, 15 min walk to Budgewoi shops, cafes and lake. 5 min drive to the beach.
5 National parks within a 20km range
The guest suite has reverse cycle air conditioning (heating and cooling).
*The bedroom features a Queen size bed with fresh linen and comfy pillows, Tv with in built DVD player, Extra bedding. Suitcase and hanging space and a large chest of drawers for storage.
*The sitting room has a Double sofabed, Air conditioning, smart tv with Netflix. There is a DVD player as well, with a great variety of DVDs and CDs for you to choose from.
*A new modern bathroom featuring a shower with a waterfall shower head and a full size bath. Fresh towels, toiletries, personal hygiene products, in case you get caught out and a hair dryer.
*Your own private Kitchen with a Baccarat Ultimate Air fryer and oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, teapot, Coffee pod machine, Plunger coffee pot, toaster, pancake maker (great for frying eggs), an egg boiler, wine glasses, mugs and cups and full dinner set. Please note, THERE is NO HOTPLATES OR A SINK/TAP in the kitchen. We have supplied an area for you to place used cups, plates and cutlery and we do the cleaning up for you. If you stay for more than one night. You can place the container supplied for dirty dishes etc, on the verandah each day, which I will collect and return to you by the end of the day with any requests for extra supplies. I do not access to the cottage to do this.
Tea (teabags and loose leaf tea ), Coffee Pod machine with pods, Instant coffee, Plunger coffee, sugar and a 1 litre full cream milk are provided.
We also supply BBQ utensils ,oil, sauces etc, for the Electric BBQ.
There are 2 warm cosy blankets to wrap around yourself for outdoor use at night, umbrella and shopping bags for you to use while you are here.
There is even a kids tepee for the kids to use in the garden and a secret fairy door in the garden that will delight children.
We live at the back of the cottage but use a separate entrance down the side of the cottage ( you may see us occasionally walking across the garden to gain access to the side gate ), so apart from that your guest suite is at the front of the property, private and has its own entrance, garden space and private driveway at the front of the cottage for you to park in.
We pride ourselves on looking after our guests and making their stay as comfortable and easy as possible. We think we have thought of everything you might need during your stay, but if not, just ask. We will do our best to accommodate you and if you would like a meet and greet, I am only too happy to pop in to meet you or just let yourselves in and enjoy your stay
PLEASE let us know in ADVANCE if you are having other people besides yourselves to stay in the cottage. This is for insurance reasons.
PLEASE NOTE that it is a 5 minute drive to Budgewoi shops, beaches or lakes, or a 15-20 minute walk to the Budgewoi shops and lake or a 30min walk to the beach.
Budgewoi is centrally located on the Central Coast with a lot of activities on offer , great swimming, fishing, dining, shopping ( Tuggerah ), bushwalking. 30mins to Tree Tops adventure park.
40mins to Terrigal. 20mins to The Entrance and 30 mins to Yarramalong.
1 hour form the Hunter valley with great wineries, Pokolbin. Newcastle CBD, with wonderful restaurants, festivals/markets.
Newcastle Airport is only 1 hour and 15mins away.
