About this space
Our refurbished original 2 bedroom plus study cottage set in vast lawn amongst trees and native birdlife.
I have provided lots of pillows, quilts, cushions for guest comfort. Lounge has windows on 3 sides, rooms have abundant natural light & pretty water views. Furnished with comfy sofas for maximum relaxation. Fire for toasty times in winter. Dine/lounge undercover waterside in summer. Full kitchen. Seperate study.
The moment you settle into one of the comfy sofas inside in winter or outside in summer overlooking the water owe think magic happens. This isn't just any holiday cottage – we are set amongst Peppermints & Tuarts - the perfect place to watch the tide rise and fall and feel as if you might drift off down to sea at any minute.
Small dog welcome. A few mins from suburban Dunsborough. Unsuitiable for children under 10.
The space

Your private stretch of water, big comfy deck, located on 4000m2 of parkland.
We have decorated with a beach themed Hamptons style with many local artworks. Plus a new kitchen and newly polished floorboards.
Reverse cycle air con in living areas and 2 x dimplex heaters for bedrooms. Screens on windows and doors. Undercover parking for two cars. Lounge is furnished with comfy sofas and chaises for maximum relaxation. Light the fire in winter - lots of kindling sticks onsite ( firewood available from servo).
Drive down Friday afternoon and late check out Sunday for a real break. Extra late 4.00pm checkout available to make it really worthwhile - please ask.
Long weekends need a 3 night minimum stay
Please note: The cottage is so close to the water that it presents safety issues for children, is unfenced and set 50m back from Caves road.
Guest access
Guests have the use of the entire house, large undercover deck and one acre of grassed land.

Ourcome and go throughout the day and two types of possums that play on the roof (sometimes inside the roof space): the protected Ring Tail Possum and Brush-tailed phascogale - a small arboreal carnivorous marsupial that is shy - so keep an eye out!
