Positive: The unit is very well positioned and easy to get to many parts of Tuncurry & Forster. Unfortunately, a few things really disappointed especially staying in the middle of winter. Hot water system is almost non-existent. for a 2-bedroom unit that should accommodate 4 people the hot water ran out after approx 3 mins of hot water then just (Luke) warm only for the remainder and only 1 person was able to shower. I tried again in the afternoon after fishing and also had nice hot water for approx 3 mins before completely running out. No way a family of 4 could ever have a warm shower. (We were only 2 people). The bed in the main room although comfortable was unstable on a wonky bed frame that creaked and groaned every slight movement.. Also not a game changer but could easily be repaired or tightened (it's obviously just ageing). Heating was also minimal with only a small electric heater available located in Living room (Bar style heater) that would barely heat a room. Shame there wasn't a bigger unit/split air con etc to heat up on a cold night.. (There was no mention of Air con at booking stage... so again wasn't expecting but just mentioning it may be cold nights . (Also noted nice new fans which would be great in Summer months). Now the positives.... The place is located beautifully and was really clean and all linen and towels supplied. Overall I was disappointed for value for money as I believe for over $300 per night You should be able to shower and keep warm in winter as was needed. we had a 2 night stay. Picking up keys and returning was a breeze... Thanks
