Cumberland House is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom, two-bathroom luxurious home. The house is flooded with natural light and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and set in one of Katoomba's best streets.
This idyllic home comfortably accommodates up to nine guests and is the perfect mountain retreat for families or a group of friends to holiday together. The home has gas ducted heating and reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout as well as an electric fireplace in the living room.
The large, beautifully designed mountain home is perfect for couples, families or groups of friend to enjoy with an expansive open-plan living area with two separate lounge areas as well as a large dining area which comfortably sits 10 people. The living room comes with a 55 inch size Smart TV with free access to Netflix. The living area has spectacular views over the landscaped gardens and district views of the surrounding bushland.
If you feel like cooking during your stay, the house has a fully equipped chef’s kitchen as well as a coffee machine, modern appliances and basic pantry items provided by your host.
Cumberland House has three large bedrooms, the master bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, TV, a walk-in wardrobe and its own ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and views over the back garden. The third bedroom has a double bed plus bunk beds and a separate single mattress. Each bedroom has blackout blinds or curtains and with all hotel-quality linens and towels being supplied by your host.
The main bathroom has a bath and separate shower and the ensuite has a large walk-in shower. There is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
The house is set on generous grounds which has been cleverly designed and landscaped into several distinct outdoor seating areas for the guests to enjoy, including the shade of the covered balcony or venture into the garden and enjoy the circular paved entertainment space from where you can sit and enjoy the light-filled of the garden and fresh mountain air.
There is a grand circular driveway with sufficient parking for all our guests.
* the fire pit is not available for use by our guests during fire season which runs from 01 October to 31 March every year.
Please note: to confirm this booking you will be required to sign our Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”), provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card on our verification portal at the time of booking. In accordance with our Agreement, a hold of $500 will be placed on your credit card as a Security Deposit 7 days before your Check-In Date.
