2 Bedroom House in North Avoca
Welcome to our weekender in North Avoca, we are located in a quiet secluded cul de sac, overlooking native bush. A modern pole house the enclosed front veranda overlooks the treetops, the back area opens onto a lovely deck which is totally private and overlooks native gardens and bushland.
Conveniently located, our place is a 10-min. drive to Terrigal, 5 mins to North Avoca Beach, Avoca Beach is a short drive away with all its cafes, surf club and cinema. Sydney is a 1hr 15 min drive.
Fully self-contained our home is newly furnished in a contemporary Scandi style. There is a full kitchen with equipment to prepare a gourmet meal, there is a Nespresso coffee machine and some basic supplies plus tea and coffee. We have recently added a BBQ on the back deck.
We believe in a good nights sleep and both bedrooms have 5-star hotel quality pillow top Queen beds which are ridiculously comfortable, linen is included. The bathroom has a shower over a large corner bath, toiletries and towels are provided.
The living space is on one level, opening out onto a back deck and native gardens. Enjoy abundant birds, peacocks, bush turkeys and wildlife at your back door, or while relaxing on the outdoor day bed, there is also an outdoor dining table.
THINGS TO NOTE:
We have Wifi.
There is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs and a hard drive full of all kinds of movies. The 42" LCD TV has HDMI capability if you wish to hook up to your laptop (bring your own cables) and the Google Chrome cast allows access to your own streaming accounts, Netflix etc.
A selection of board games are provided and a table tennis table downstairs.
The house is up a steep drive and does have an internal staircase.
We suggest bringing your own beach towels.
Laundry facilities are available for weekly rentals, by prior arrangement.
THE AREA:
North Avoca Beach is a popular surf spot, the beach is quiet.
The Boy and The Rose at North Avoca is our favourite coffee and brunch spot laid back cafe with great food.
Avoca Beach we love Avoca Surf cafe overlooking the rock pool or the Avoca Cinema. Need supplies Georges Fruit Barn is the closest deli with a good selection of goods at 251 Scenic Highway.
The house is a short 5-minute drive to Terrigal or Avoca Beach. Walking to the beach is 20 minutes and you can walk along the sand to Avoca for a good work out!
