Castlereagh Cottage is an older style home with original kitchen and bathroom which are yet to be updated. Offering free high speed Wi-Fi which is perfect for the 55 inch smart TV which you can log into your own streaming services. Castlereagh Cottage is a comfortable place to stay for whatever occasion. The cottage can accommodate up to 7 guests and is located in a quiet, leafy, tree lined street. The cottage has a 3.5kw reverse cycle air conditioner in the front lounge area and another 6kw split system in the large bedroom to the rear of the cottage with ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
There are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Alfresco sitting area in the back yard with a large wind out umbrella provides a space to relax also.
Bed layout is as follows -
Bedroom 1 has 1 x Queen sized bed
Bedroom 2 has 1 x single bed and 1 x double bed
Bedroom 3 has 1 x Queen sized bed
There is also a fold away cot available
Note: If a booking is made for 1 guest, only 1 bed is to be slept in, if 2 guests are booked, a maximum of 2 beds can be slept in and so on. Extra beds that are used beyond the number of guests staying will be charged at a rate of $30 per night.
Bedroom 3 to the rear of the cottage has its own television and lounge suite where you can sit and relax and there is also a desk with a lamp at the window which makes a great study area or just a place to write or work at.
There are comfy lounges and an open functional kitchen with all you'll need to self cater. Unfortunately there is no dishwasher so its old school washing up I'm sorry. Linen and towels are provided. There is a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board in the outside laundry which is available for guest use.
Castlereagh Cottage is literally 5 minutes walk to the Turvey Tavern where within the same shopping complex you'll find various restaurants (Pizza, Indian and Cafe food). There is a Foodworks Supermarket, Butchery, Bottle Shop, Hair Dresser, Post Office, Laundromat and Chemist. A Chinese Restaurant is also located across the road from the complex.
