This stunning property on 8 acres is called Cape cottages and comprises of 2 separate properties on one parcel of land. "Sassy's Dream" the small cottage for 2 is separate and private from the main house (about 70 metres apart). It has its own access & parking. This property has expansive lawns and stunning views, it's perfect for couples wanting to relax and enjoy the beauty of both the magnificent Otways and the Great Ocean Road!

• Please note: If available, bunk beds will have linen provided however will not be made due to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Sassy's Dream has no Wifi but hey don't fret we have views and native wildlife to keep you entertained. Telstra's Internet connection is mostly good. There is no Optus signal
* Please note there is an open dam on the property, so it is not suited to children or infants.
Guests will have exclusive access to the cottage and surrounding lawn

Wildlife (including snakes) is also a part of our Australian bush landscape and a real danger that you need to be aware of at all times. Whilst we don't see them often, they are around. We only mention this so you are aware. We also ask that you don't engage with the Deer, Koalas or Kangaroos as these may look cute they are wild animals.
Please note: Cape Cottages has an unfenced dam on its acreage. Guests and/or their Visitors are not permitted to enter the dam under any circumstances and swimming, fishing and/or any other activity in the dam are strictly prohibited. Guests acknowledge and agree that we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of a breach of this condition. Guests and/or their Visitors will not be entitled to claim or recover damages from us because of a breach of this condition. All liability to all Guests and/or their Visitors in negligence arising out of a breach of this of this condition is excluded. Guests must control and be responsible for ensuring that Visitors comply with these terms and conditions.
On the odd occasion you are here and we need to cut the grass, we will let you know. We will always do our best to avoid doing this when guests are around, as we don't want to disturb you with the noise. However, there are some occasions that this may be difficult to avoid.
BOND/REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT FEE: Please note the bond is held as a pre-authorisation on your credit card, this is taken within 24 hours of your arrival and held until 3 days post stay. We require that the bond is simply an amount we "hold" on your card. If there are issues or damages, we will contact you post stay to discuss with a view to resolving before the hold is released.
The booking price displayed for online bookings includes a processing fee of 3% per booking.
If a refund or cancellation takes place, please note the refunded amount will not include the 3% processing fee as this will be retained by Otway Retreats to cover the original transaction.

Check-in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is 10:00am unless specified and agreed otherwise.
Early Check-ins and Late checkouts are subject to availability and incur additional fees.
Please respect the privacy of our local community and neighbours. If a guest's behaviour or noise level is unreasonable, a warning will be given and ignoring this will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund. Strictly no parties or events allowed.
This property is non-smoking, failure to comply will result in a minimum $200 fine.
Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat and tidy manner on departure. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the property is not left in a presentable condition.
