This family home has it all for a relaxing summer break. You never need to get in the car, or entertain the kids. The beach is only a 5 min walk away as is the village of Avalon with it's superb cafes, restaurants and movies. If fishing, sailing, or kayaking is your thing, beautiful Pittwater is only a 10min walk away.
The house with it's northerly aspect is open, sunny and light. The prevailing Summer sea breeze flows through the open plan keeping the house always comfortable. The house backs onto Jamison reserve, a beautiful and very private park, great for a late afternoon game of cricket. This can always be followed by a refreshing swim in the pool.
The house is newly renovated with an upstairs addition of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Down stairs there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a bathroom, laundry and an outside shower for easy access after the beach. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan.
Avalon beach is perfect for the whole family, with surf and a sea pool as well as beautiful rock pools for younger kids to explore at the northern end. When the swell is small snorkelling is also lovely. Tennis courts and the local playing fields and dog park are also only a short walk away.
The surrounding area is filled with natural beauty and boundless entertainment. A walk up to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse is well rewarded with spectacular 360 degree views. It's also worth planning a breakfast or at least coffee at the Boat House on the way!
A ferry ride to The Basin is a lovely day out and you will be guaranteed of seeing wallabies and goannas.
