5b@Crackenback CHALET sits amongst the treetops at the highest point of the resort surrounding Lake Crackenback and boasts unrivalled views of the Crackenback Range and easy access to the mountains and snow fields.
Located in the Thredbo Valley on the edge of Kosciuszko National Park, this magnificent chalet is mid-way between Jindabyne and Thredbo, adjacent to the SkiTube and provides the perfect base for winter snow sports, quiet getaways, alpine walks, mountain biking and high-country adventures.
This two-bedroom chalet is set on three levels.
The master suite is on the upper level and includes a king bed with a built-in robe, desk, heating and ensuite bathroom.
The second king bedroom and main bathroom are on the lower level. This bedroom includes a built-in robe, and heating and enjoys full mountain views. A king bed or 2 x king single bed configurations are available on request when booking.
Bed linen is provided. Both bathrooms have programmed underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, and a hairdryer and include complimentary toiletries, tissues, and towels.
The open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen is on the upper level. This spacious area brims with light and is complemented by high ceilings and picture windows which frame the beautiful mountain views. There is a gas log fire offering a cosy retreat in winter and an air conditioner for your comfort in summer. The lounge also opens onto a balcony with an outdoor table setting providing the perfect place to further enjoy the mountain views and natural environment.
The fully equipped kitchen includes cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment and sundry utensils, a slow cooker, a large fridge, dishwasher, electric wall and microwave oven and a six-burner gas hob. For added convenience, there is a coffee machine (coffee provided), as well as tea, sugar and long-life milk, salt/pepper, vinegar and oil. All dishwashing detergents are provided.
The main entrance and foyer, on the middle level, includes a full laundry with a front-loading washing machine (detergent provided) and condenser dryer, iron, ironing board, drying cupboard and ski storage racks. The main entrance opens onto undercover parking for two cars. There are no steps between the car parking area and the main entrance/foyer.
Notes:
The chalet accommodates a max. 4 people. Additional overnight guests are not permitted.
There is a one-bedroom self-contained apartment on the lower level of the chalet. This apartment has its own entrance and parking area and is rented out separately. The chalet and apartment do not share any facilities.
